A Brief Note about Session Formats

 There has been staggering research emerging on the detrimental effects of loneliness and lack of connection to other people and our environments, especially since the pandemic started. And while telehealth has many advantages, it is becoming more evident that online interactions do not offer the same benefits that face-to-face interactions do. For these reasons, I encourage clients to commit to our sessions in person whenever possible, either in the office or outside via walk & talk therapy. That said, it is important that you feel comfortable in our sessions, which is why I offer a range of options: in person at my office, in person outdoors, remotely, or a combination of all three. Flexibility is a cornerstone of boutique therapy, and if you have specific needs or preferences, I am happy to find an arrangement that is most suitable for you.
