Rates & Payment

I strive to remain competitive with other established and reputable doctoral-level psychologists in the Bay Area, and my rates are reflective of the current market as well as my unique boutique model of care. Payment is made electronically through a secure, HIPAA-compliant online platform called IVY Pay and is collected at the end of every session. Please contact me for questions about rates or payment.

Insurance

I am not in-network with any insurance plans, however I am happy to provide you with a monthly billing statement (“superbill”) that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Reimbursement rates for my clients range from 40-95%, so I recommend calling your insurance provider to ask what they will reimburse for out-of-network, outpatient psychotherapy services. In many cases you can file your claims for reimbursement online through your insurance company’s website by following these simple steps:

  1. Sign into your account on your insurance company’s website

  2. Find the option to “submit claim online”

  3. Complete the requested information

  4. Scan and upload the superbills provided by your therapist

Cancellation Policy

In order to protect my time, I have a 48-hour notification policy for cancellations or reschedule requests. I understand your schedule is not always within your control and sometimes plans change last-minute, and I try to be as flexible as possible with regard to scheduling changes. In turn, I ask that you are courteous of mine and others’ time by giving me as much advance notice as possible with regard to scheduling changes so that I can offer your appointment time to someone else who might need it. Please note that no-shows/missed appointments will result in forfeiture of your session time and the corresponding session amount.
